Whether unfinished or covered, adobe bricks play a large role in a home’s look and feel. In this library/piano room, a
thin coating of plaster brightens the area while preserving the bricks’ undulating form. Wood shelves with carved detailed on the aprons, hold a collection of mostly antique artifacts and precious books, while the undeniable star of the display is the antique limestone carved panels, one on each side of the room. A corbeled archway, reclaimed wood flooring, an antique Bessarabian rug, and the family piano combine to make a warm and memorable space.
